What we collect, and why.

This website

packfresh.company collects almost nothing

No cookiesNo account, no session, and nothing remembered about you between visits.
One vendor, at the edgeCloudflare sits in front of this site and is the only third party it contacts. Two things come from there: Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies, without fingerprinting you, and without following you to other sites; and a small script that rewrites the email addresses on the contact page so scrapers have to work harder for them. Nothing else off this domain is requested on any page.
Fonts are self-hostedServed from this domain rather than fetched from Google. Loading a font should not tell another company what you are reading.
One optional formProduct pages for things that have not opened yet offer to email you when they do. If you use it we store your address, which product you asked about, the page you asked from, and the date. Nothing else, and nothing you did not type. Every other route out of this site is a plain email address. Write to any address on the contact page and we will delete yours.

Our products

What an account holds

The marketplace and the products around it necessarily hold more, because they cannot work otherwise. In plain terms:

Account details: Email address and authentication identifiers, so you can sign in and we can reach you about your account. Authentication is handled by a third-party identity provider; we do not store your password.
What you own and want: Your inventory, lists, and buy lists: the things you have told us about deliberately. This is yours. It is not sold, and it is not a product we offer to anyone else.
Transactions: Orders, offers, trades, and payouts. Kept because auditability is a requirement of running a marketplace, and of the tax and accounting obligations that come with it.
Payment details: Handled by our payment processor. Card numbers do not reach our systems and we cannot retrieve them.
Aggregate market signals: Completed sales inform pricing for everyone. These are aggregated, and nothing we publish ties them to you.
What we do not hold: Retailer credentials and payment methods for Scout. It runs on your own machine, in your own session, and those never reach us. See Trust.

Sharing

Who else sees it

Service providers who make the products work: hosting, identity, payments, email delivery and analytics, each receiving only what their function requires. Counterparties to a transaction see what a transaction requires: a shipping address to post you a card.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. If we are ever required to disclose something by law, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.

Your data

Getting it back, or getting rid of it

Write to [email protected] and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will act on it.

Deletion has one limit worth stating plainly: records of completed transactions are retained where law requires, and a trade cannot be un-recorded for the person on the other side of it. Everything not bound by that goes.

We hold no certifications and claim no specific regulatory regime. If you need a data processing agreement or a compliance questionnaire completed for a partner program, write to [email protected] and we will work through it with you rather than point you at a badge.

Changes

When this changes

If a vendor is added or removed, this page changes with it. Material changes get a notice to account holders rather than a silent edit and a new date at the top. packfresh.com carries its own terms of sale; nothing here replaces them.
